Washington, D.C. – March, 2017 – The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) closed out its 2016 Housing Policy & Hispanic Lending Conference with the installation of Joseph Nery as 2016 President. Nery was installed at NAHREP’s presidential gala where Congressman, Luis V. Gutierrez gave keynote remarks commending NAHREP for its work as one the premiere Hispanic business organizations in the country.
“Through his practice Joe has helped countless individuals achieve the dream of homeownership and begin down the path toward wealth building,” said NAHREP CEO and Co-founder, Gary Acosta, “His expertise and leadership will help us accomplish the ambitious goals we’ve laid out for the organization.”
Nery previously served as Secretary on NAHREP’s National Board of Directors, and has also served at a local level as President of the NAHREP Chicago chapter board. He is a partner at Nery & Richardson LLC, a law firm with a primary focus on real estate.

Nery is frequently featured in both English and Spanish language on radio and television as an expert in real estate legal matters. Nery resides in his native Chicago with his wife Julianne and their three young sons.
