For the first time ever, the World Ski Awards has travelled the globe to find the best of the best places to stay and play in the snow. And the word is out: Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside has just been named Canada’s Best Ski Hotel.

The inaugural World Ski Awards were announced at a ceremony held on November 16 in Kitzbühel, Austria.

It features five categories in 20 countries ranging from Andorra to Korea to New Zealand.
