Restorix Health, the first comprehensive center for advanced wound care directly affiliated with a research institute, today announced that it has signed a 10-year lease at the HighMark Medical Center for more than 8,200 square feet of office space. The newly constructed Class A medical office facility located at SR 900 and NW Maple Street, near I-90 and the west end of Gilman Boulevard, is on track to obtain LEED Gold certification and will be Issaquah’s first medical facility awarded this status. Restorix Health is strategically locating its centers in underserved communities and selected the HighMark Medical Center for a variety of reasons. These include: easy patient access from Eastside communities such as Kirkland, Redmond, Bellevue, Issaquah, North Bend and Snoqualmie, as well as Renton and Maple Valley; convenient access to the new Sound Transit Park and Ride located just across the street; on site free covered parking with a pick-up/drop off area; and a growing community of medical groups in the facility with the potentially to further serve patient needs.Restorix President, John Fallou stated, “At every level of detail in construction and design we strove to create a home away from home environment for our patients, many of whom suffer from advanced wounds and diseases requiring frequent visits for IV infusion therapy, hyperbaric oxygen treatment and lymphedema therapy.” Fallou added, “With a capacity that can handle upwards of 3,000 patients per month and includes six hyperbaric chambers, eight IV infusion stations, plus private offices and creature comforts such as flat screen televisions, we are anxiously awaiting our grand opening so that patients can experience this one-of-a-kind facility first hand.” The Issaquah location will also serve as headquarters for the Restorix Research Institute.-
