Worldwide public relations agency Edelman has added five new staff members in their Seattle office, scaling the firm’s communications expertise across its Consumer and Technology practices.

Edelman Seattle’s five new hires for December-January include:

  • ·         Alyssa Barker

Financial Analyst, Finance

With experience from Chicago Title and CHASE Bank, Alyssa Barker joins Edelman Seattle as a Financial Analyst. Barker graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, minoring in Economics.

  • ·         Cherylynne Crowther

Executive Producer, Creative Newsroom

Cherylynne Crowther joins Edelman Seattle as the Executive Producer of the firm’s Creative Newsroom. Crowther has an extensive background in news, news marketing and media technology including work at KING 5 Television and MSNBC.com.

  • ·         Christine Weiss

Account Supervisor, Consumer

Christine Weiss joins Edelman Seattle bringing over 10 years of experience in the fields of food, beverage and nutrition. Weiss earned her master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics from Bastyr University and is a Certified Diabetes Educator. Her diverse background in nutrition, healthcare, culinary and public relations and communications will serve as an asset when working with diverse clientele in her position in Food and Nutrition at the firm.

  • ·         Jon Ramsey

Account Supervisor, Technology

With more than five years of agency experience and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Washington, Jon Ramsey joins Edelman Seattle’s Technology team. Along with his passion for technology, Ramsey brings experience managing accounts and campaigns in the interactive entertainment industry.

  • ·         Rebecca Catchpole

Assistant Account Executive, Microsoft

Rebecca Catchpole joins Edelman Seattle after an internship with the firm’s Microsoft team, during which worked on the launch of Xbox One and several first- and third-party game titles. Catchpole graduated from the University of Washington-Tacoma with a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies and from Syracuse University with a master’s in Public Relations.
