Sam Henry has recently joined The Bank of Washington as its new Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager. Henry, a resident of King County, is based out of the bank’s Redmond Office located at 1624 NE 79th Street. Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking, John Huey, said Sam will play an important role in the bank’s strategic growth plan, with a focus on expanding its loan portfolio in the Seattle and Eastside markets.
Henry is a veteran of the banking industry with an accomplished background in commercial lending and business banking around the Puget Sound Region. He has managed both large commercial portfolios as well as deposit client relationships. Most recently, he was vice president and regional team leader at HomeStreet Bank. Prior to that, he also worked at Washington Federal Savings and Key Bank.
Henry is a graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Accounting. He is also a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School, a master’s-level program affiliated with the University of Washington. He is active in the community, serving on the board of directors for Hilltop House, a senior affordable living community in Seattle.
