AAA Washington recently hired Michael Jerrett as its Public Affairs Manager. Jerrett will be responsible for managing the success of AAA Washington’s traffic safety and advocacy programs, including partnerships and involvement in influential work groups to help drive local initiatives.
“Michael’s legislative and project management skills will be a great asset to our team as AAA continues to be a leader in traffic safety in Washington state and beyond,” stated Jennifer Cook, senior manager of corporate communications.
Prior to joining AAA, Michael was employed at Seattle City Light where he handled communications and outreach for the Utility’s directorship of the national Municipal Solid-State Street Lighting Consortium program as well as community outreach on capital projects. During his career, he has also spent time as a legislative assistant for a Seattle City Councilmember and was the executive director for the Fremont Chamber of Commerce.
Jerrett holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Washington, and enjoys family activities with his wife and three children.
