Seattle-based hospitality management and consulting firm Columbia Hospitality, Inc. announces the appointment of Sasha Nosecchi as lifestyle and retail expert. Nosecchi joined Columbia Hospitality in July 2012 after four years as a senior manager of guest services at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville, Wash.  Headquartered at the Columbia Hospitality waterfront offices, Nosecchi’s new position will focus on developing Columbia Hospitality’s brands, as well as its individual hotels and distinctive venues by creating memorable experiences for guests.

Nosecchi will play a key role in building the culture and lifestyle at Columbia Hospitality and each managed property. One of her initial endeavors is the brand and retail release of Salish Lodge & Spa’s signature honey, extending the much-loved guest experience into homes around Seattle and beyond. She has already helped develop a dozen additional food and lifestyle products for Salish that will debut this holiday season.

“I like to use my imagination and really think about what would enrich the experience of our guests,” said Nosecchi. “Maybe it’s a Friday Harbor House exclusive summer ale? Or perhaps a signature spa line for the Inn at Langley—in what ways can the Columbia Hospitality experience be enhanced or be re-created? There is much to dream about!”

Nosecchi also formerly spent time at Starbucks Coffee Company where she delivered an unprecedented level of excellence in every position held. Her work with store employees and executives alike kept her involved on every level of guest service, training, new market expansion, and Nosecchi’s favorite part—adding special touches to the customer experience at every possible moment. At Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, Nosecchi demonstrated crucial business development skills, obtaining an annual sales volume of $5 million.

“As our portfolio of distinctive properties grows, so does our opportunity for creativity,” said Columbia Hospitality President Bret Matteson. “We are constantly looking for ways to provide our guests a unique and personalized experience, and Sasha is just the innovative leader that will work with our team members to bring guests those unexpected delights.”

Calling the Northwest her home for more than 25 years, Nosecchi lives with her husband and daughter in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle.
