GLY Construction is proud to present the first-ever Goblin Gallop, a non-competitive 5K run and walk to benefit the Group Health Foundation and their efforts to improve the health of our community. This family-and-pup-friendly event will be held at Marymoor Park in Redmond on Sunday morning, October 21st. This “spooktacular” gathering also includes a free kids’ dash and toddler trot, as well as a seven-category costume contest.
The lighthearted, kid-friendly focus is intentional. By participating, you’ll also be supporting the Foundation’s Childhood Immunization Initiative, which aims to protect kids against life-threatening diseases, like whooping cough, by creating innovative tools and resources to educate families about the importance of vaccinations
After running, walking, dashing or trotting, plan on sticking around for some post-Gallop activities including some
healthy trick-or-treating, activities for kids and entertainment by local “kindie-rockers” (approved by kids and parents),
The Not Its.
Online registration (http://www.gogoblingallop.org/register/) closes on October 19th at 5pm. Day-of registration begins at 7:30 am until the galloping starts at 9 am. Kids under 12 are free with the purchase of a 5K registration ($30).
Bring your family and friends! We look forward to seeing the whole gang.
