Following the annual volunteer appreciation dinner last Thursday, the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery elected officers for the coming year. Re-elected to a one year term were Ava Frisinger, Mayor of Issaquah, as President; Norman “Crash” Nash as Vice President and Mark Allen of Technical Media Productions, Treasurer. Elected to the position of Secretary was Darrell Wells of Pioneer Human Services. Each will serve a one year term.
The Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery (FISH) is a volunteer based nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of the historic Issaquah Salmon Hatchery. Volunteers educate the community about the salmon lifecycle and inspire stewardship of the Puget Sound watershed.
