Bellevue Boys & Girls Club logoOn Thurs., April 3, Domino’s Pizza will re-open the doors of its new-look location in downtown Bellevue, WA, and will donate 25 percent of sales (not profits) from the day to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue to help support 2014 summer camp scholarships and healthy after-school snacks. Members of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce and Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue CEO Kathy Haggart, along with local franchisee Justin Ford, will participate in the official ribbon cutting, in addition to delivering a few remarks about the Bellevue pizza destination and its impact on the community.

Guests will have the opportunity to walk the red (pizza sauce) carpet and witness pizza making races between Domino’s crewmembers (and maybe even a few kids from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue). Food and beverages will be available for sampling and Domino’s gift cards and other prizes will be given away throughout the day.

When:                     Thurs., April 3, 2014

4 to 6 p.m. for Grand Opening activities and prize giveaways

4 to 5 p.m. for ribbon cutting with Bellevue Chamber of Commerce and Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue

Where:                Domino’s Pizza, 10575 NE 12th St. Bellevue, WA

Why:                   To help raise funds for Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue. With 25 percent of sales – not profits – going to this worthy cause, Domino’s hopes that area residents turn out to not only see the new-look store, but to give generously.

The Bellevue Domino’s doesn’t look like many of the chain’s restaurants customers may have previously visited. With a renewed focus on the art and skill of pizza-making, Domino’s is introducing its Pizza Theater store design, where kids and adults alike will have the opportunity to watch their pizza being made and interact with crew members. The Bellevue restaurant also boasts hardwood floors, a chalk wall and a cold case featuring fresh-made salads, milk, cookies, cakes and other desserts.
