Aaron HilliardBellevue College has appointed Aaron Hilliard as Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, he will provide leadership for the Human Resources department and will be a key contributor to President’s Cabinet.

“We are so pleased to bring such a talented and multi-faceted HR professional to our campus,” said Bellevue College President, Dr. David Rule. “His contributions to this campus will no doubt help to positively shape our community for years to come.”

Hilliard, who began his tenure at Bellevue College on Feb. 3, comes to the Pacific Northwest from Muskegon Community College in Muskegon, Mich., where he spent the past 14 years representing the college in all areas of human resources administration in increasing levels of responsibility, culminating in the position of Executive Director of Human Resources.

“I look forward to growing professionally and personally with the Bellevue College faculty, staff and community,” Hilliard said. “This is such a vibrant campus!”

In addition to his leadership duties, Hilliard will work on the development and guidance of formal human resources strategies and programs for all employment and personnel operations. Hilliard holds a bachelor’s degree in organization administration and a master’s degree human resources administration from Central Michigan University. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management as well as the American Society for Training and Development.
