Romy Mehlman VP of Marketing for Lucky Strike EntertainmentLucky Strike Entertainment, the creator and operator of a variety of entertainment concepts across the country, has hired Romy Mehlman as the Vice President of Marketing.  Mehlman, who was previously Vice President of Worldwide Theatrical Research for Disney Live Action and Marvel at The Walt Disney Studios, will report to Co-Founder and CEO Steven Foster in the newly created position. She will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing business and market strategies in order to further build Lucky Strike Entertainment’s growing domestic and international brand. Additionally, Mehlman will oversee market research and planning, direct all promotion and advertising activities, partner with the sales and operations teams, and manage the company’s marketing staff and creative staff, and public relations and social media agencies. She will also be focusing on bringing in new revenue streams, corporate events and partnerships, as well as building regional outreach and community engagement for Lucky Strike’s multiple locations across the United States and Canada.

While at The Walt Disney Studios, Mehlman oversaw worldwide theatrical research for Disney Live Action and Marvel, including the successful campaign for The Avengers, which had the #1 domestic opening of all time and the #3 global box office of all time. Prior to joining The Walt Disney Studios, Mehlman was Hard Rock International’s Director of Marketing for the Western Region, where she led a team of over thirty sales and marketing managers for more than twenty Hard Rock Cafes in the US.  She heightened brand awareness, drove traffic into the venues, led the marketing for the openings of five new Hard Rock Cafes in 2009-2010, and developed key strategic partnerships with various record labels to bring live music programs to Hard Rock International.  In her new role, she will similarly develop key partnerships to further enhance the company’s profile in the entertainment space. Previously, Mehlman was the Director of Worldwide Market Research for Columbia TriStar Marketing Group/Sony Pictures Entertainment, and held positions at Twentieth Century Fox and Artisan Entertainment.

Mehlman is actively involved in various charities, and looks forward to partnering with different philanthropic causes for Lucky Strike. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Communications.
