In my quest to help out as many local non-profits as possible, I am helping to promote them by giving them free listings on the Eastside Business Directory, as well as publicizing them here at BellevueBusinessJournal.com.
The Friends of FSH Research was recommend to me via Ted Marshall on Facebook and he noted his recommendation was via Terry Elsas Colella. Goal to stimulate new interest in research of Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy (FSH, also known as FSHD)
Mission to support research in order to find a treatment or cure for FSHD
Friends of FSH Research was founded in 2004 by a Kirkland family following the diagnosis of their son with Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy. (also known as FSH or FSHD) Since there was insufficient FSH research being done which would help to find a treatment or cure for this type of Muscular Dystrophy, the Friends of FSH Research was organized. The mission of this organization is to stimulate
& fund new FSH research; their ultimate goal is finding a treatment or cure for this progressive condition.
