Communication Arts has selected Phinney Bischoff’s website phinneybischoff.com for its Webpick of the Day.
A prominent publication in the design industry, Communication Arts first selected its Webpick of the Day in 2007. Selected sites feature intuitive user interfaces as well as appealing design.
Communication Arts selected phinneybischoff.com on January 14, 2013, lauding the site’s “real-time curation of the team’s social feeds, blogs and case studies.”
Cody Rasmussen, Phinney Bischoff’s Design Director, explains this is just what the site was meant to do. “We wanted a site that captured all of the curiosity and exploration that happens in the office and in each of our lives.” The website, which pulls from Phinney Bischoff employee’s social media feeds as well as company-related information, accomplishes that. “When people visit our website,” Rasmussen explains, “it’s like they’re looking through a window into our offices. Except without the whole trespassing thing.”
With work from clients like the Seattle Symphony and Woodland Park zoo and social media posts with topics ranging from brand and technology to sports and Twinkies, Phinney Bischoff has thirty years of agency history and a website that reflects the team’s interests and capabilities.
Even though the current version of the cite is getting recognition, Ed Ouellette, Phinney Bischoff’s Interactive Manager/Producer, points out that a new version is right around the corner. “We can’t afford to think of the site as ‘done’. Technology moves too fast for us to stand still, and we’ve got a couple more tricks up our sleeves.”
