Seattle-based Columbia Hospitality has hired Caroline Pennington as corporate sales manager. With over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Caroline brings an extensive background in hotel sales, guest and convention services and group tour operations. Her expertise was gained working for such organizations as Holland America Cruise Line, Meydenbauer Convention Center, Starwood and The Bravern in Bellevue.
“I am thrilled to welcome Caroline to the team. Her experience and sales expertise will be a strong asset in generating overall sales revenue for Columbia Hospitality,” said Katie Knoll, corporate director of sales for Columbia Hospitality. Caroline’s role will be primarily focused on prospecting for new group business in the Seattle metro area, along with feeder cities on the west coast and beyond. This role will work with the property teams, marketing and revenue management and help execute the sales strategy to meet and exceed sales goals—focusing on the development of group and mid-week business.
Caroline looks forward to representing the inns and hotels including: Friday Harbor House, Salish Lodge & Spa, Cave B Inn & Spa, Rainbow Ranch Lodge, Knob Hill Inn, Inn at Langley, Lake House at Chelan, and Talaris Conference Center. A fourth generation Seattle native, Caroline currently resides in Issaquah with her family.
