The Summit at Snoqualmie is happy to announce that the 2012/2013 ski season is set to kick off tomorrow, Saturday, December 8th. The winter storm that has delivered 14” of snow in the last 24 hours was all that was needed for the resort to get the Summit West base area ready to operate for this coming weekend.

“We’ve seen good snow accumulation on our higher slopes over the last two weeks and just needed a serious storm to deliver the goods at our base area elevation,” Summit Marketing Director Guy Lawrence said. “We’re super excited to get the ski season underway and snow conditions should be excellent for all of us to enjoy on opening day.”
