Zumba, a popular Latin-inspired dance-fitness program, will bring a party atmosphere to a March 10 fundraiser for Highland Community Center programs for children and adults with disabilities.
“Zumba for Highland Center,” a fitness carnival dance party led by volunteer zumba instructors, will be 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at the Highland Center, 14224 Bel-Red Road.
The event, sponsored by Bellevue Parks & Community Services, is open to adults of all fitness levels. Participants are encouraged to dress in colorful costumes. Crossroads Pagliacci will provide food. Child care will also be provided. No preregistration or experience is necessary.
The entry fee is a suggested donation of $10 per person at the door, cash, check or credit card. Participants are encouraged to ask friends and family to donate.
