Union Bank, N.A. recently announced the opening of Lakemont’s first retail bank branch in the popular Lakemont Village, 4851 Lakemont Boulevard SE in Bellevue. In addition to offering the full range of banking services, the branch is designed to serve as a community meeting destination, with features that include a community room that has an indoor/outdoor fireplace, and comfortable outside seating for the community to enjoy.
To celebrate the opening, the branch will have special market-leading deposit offers for new Union Bank customers and clients.
“Investing in our communities is a priority for Union Bank, and we are delighted to be the first retail bank branch to serve the Lakemont community,” said Ron Heller, Senior Vice President and Regional Executive for the Pacific Northwest. “We designed this branch especially to create a gathering place where residents and business owners can connect while banking with us or holding a meeting in our community room. Our team has already reached out to the business and non-profit community here and we look forward to strengthening our relationship with the community.”
The full-service banking office is overseen by Branch Manager Steve Palomo, who is responsible for connecting and listening to the community to make sure that their banking needs are met. He will also lead the team of locally based bankers with many years of service in banking in the greater Seattle/Bellevue area. Palomo has more than 14 years working for and managing retail establishments and branches and most recently served as vice president, banking center manager for Bank of America in Bellevue.
Joining Palomo is Kelly Kavanaugh, senior Priority Banking relationship manager for the branch’s Priority Banking unit. Kavanaugh brings 23 years of mortgage lending and investment experience to the Lakemont community. She is an expert in the jumbo mortgage market and serving the needs of the mass affluent, including families, individuals, and entrepreneurs on complex banking and investment needs, such as succession planning.
“We are excited to bring our customized banking solutions directly to the Lakemont community,” said Union Bank Regional Manager Maryetta Williams. “Steve and our entire team understand the banking needs of Lakemont’s community, and possess a broad range of skills.
