Another man has died at Lincoln Square in Bellevue, after falling off a 3rd floor escalator early this morning, according to a post on the Seattle Times news site. There seems to be some conjecture as to if alcohol might have played a role in the accident, since the only places still open at 1am are bars.
Lincoln Square is part of “The Bellevue Collection” owned by Kemper Freeman Jr., along with Bellevue Square and Bellevue Place.
This is the 4th death at Lincoln Square since 2006 and 2nd in a couple of months. You can read more about the previous three in this story at the Bellevue Reporter.
Our sympathies go to the unidentified man’s friends and family.
