The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Passion Committee volunteers will be hosting a booth at the Third Thursday Wine Walk “Bite at the Warehouse” event on Thursday, August 18. Attendees will be encouraged to wear red to the event, and anyone who wears red will be entered in a drawing for an American Heart Association Cookbook, bottles of wine, and other prizes.
CPR Training will be available at the booth and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about heart health and provide additional information.
The participating wineries are also being asked to support the cause by decorating their tasting areas in red and allowing placement of Go Red For Women signage in the tasting area. Each winery will have an opportunity to display a framed heart health tip on their tasting counter as well.
