AAA Washington has announced that is has hired Rob Anderson and promoted Megan Grimes and Sue Peterson at its corporate office in Bellevue.
Rob Anderson has been hired as AAA’s training and development manager. Anderson was most recently employed as a senior curriculum designer at PEMCO Mutual Insurance. He brings more than 15 years of human resources experience to his new role with special areas of expertise in education design, leadership development and eLearning. Anderson earned a degree in business/accounting from Western Washington University and holds professional certifications in eLearning, training and development management. He is a member of the American Society for Training & Development and is a volunteer with the United Way in Everett.
Megan Grimes has been promoted to senior human resources manager. Grimes has been with AAA Washington for eight years and previously held the position of human resources manager. In her new role, Grimes is responsible for driving initiatives that support overall business alignment and organizational goals while directing the daily operations of AAA Washington’s human resources team. Prior to joining AAA, Grimes held human resources positions with SafeWorks LLC and the Stock Market Institute of Learning. Grimes graduated from Whitman College with a degree in Psychology and earned a Human Resources Management Certificate from the University of Washington.
Sue Peterson has been promoted to general accounting manager. Peterson has been with AAA Washington for two years and previously held the position of general accounting supervisor. In her new role, Peterson is responsible for managing the general ledger, inventory, audit and various other accounting functions. Peterson brings more than 25 years of experience in accounting and financial services to AAA Washington. Prior to joining the accounting team at AAA, she was a senior accountant at Precor. Peterson holds a degree in accounting from Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, KS.
