Are you prepared to take care of yourself, your family and help your neighbors in an emergency or disaster? Can you get through the first three days of an emergency without any assistance? The Bellevue Fire Department Office of Emergency Management is hosting a presentation focusing on Neighborhood Emergency Preparedness and what to do before, during, and after an emergency or disaster occurs.
The Strengthening Preparedness Among Neighbors (SPAN) program is people helping people; a proven concept that helps you better respond to and recover from emergencies. We are inviting you to come and learn how SPAN can help you, your church and your neighborhood.
Discussion Topics:
Overview of disaster risks in our region and their cascading effects.
What you can do now to mitigate the effects of a disaster.
Next steps for your neighborhood to get prepared.
