Physicians and staff began seeing patients Monday, Feb. 21, in the new Evergreen Medical Center in Woodinville site at 16916 140th Ave. NE. The new building is just south of the old Evergreen Medical Center office. The Grand Opening Celebration and Community Open House will be held 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 12.
The new 22,000 square-foot building features the latest in health care technology and patient-friendly design including an electronic medical records system and pass-through cupboards so rooms can be stocked with supplies from a service hallway. The new home of Evergreen Medical Center in Woodinville is three times the size of the old facility and has 25 primary care exam rooms and 8 urgent care exam rooms. There is free parking under the building and behind the building.
The Primary Care offices are open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Urgent Care is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Additional services on site include Evergreen Imaging Center for X-rays and PACLAB at Woodinville. PACLAB will provide blood testing and specimen collections for Evergreen patients and patients referred from other physicians in the community. On-site lab testing means providers will be able to discuss results with patients during their appointments.
Skony Resources of Kirkland developed and owns the building. CollinsWoerman is the architect, Aldrich + Associates was the construction company and Andersen Construction built the interior. The building features bright colors, as much natural light as possible and is decorated with historical photographs from the Woodinville Heritage Society. Watercolors of several Woodinville historical sites were done by Snohomish artist Joan Pinney.
Evergreen Medical Center in Woodinville’s physicians and staff are backed by Evergreen Hospital’s full scope of services including the Emergency Department with a Level III Trauma Center, diagnostic imaging and surgical services.
