According to this article in the Seattle Times, 2nd generation real estate developer, Kemper Freeman Jr. has resigned from the Bellevue Downtown Association. The article seems to insinuate that his departure from the BDA (of which his father was an original founder) was because the BDA is supporting light rail and Kemper Development has done everything in their power (including filing a lawsuit) to stop Bellevue from getting light rail.
Could this be the first move to show that Kemper Development no longer can throw their weight around and force business groups (and maybe even the City) to be at their beck and call?
What are YOUR thoughts?
BTW – if you are looking to buy or sell real estate or a business in or around Bellevue, call Joe Kennedy of AAA Properties.
