Bellevue-based Lagotek Corporation today announced Phil Herres as new Chief Executive Officer. Eugene Luskin, former CEO, will remain as Chairman of the Board with operational responsibilities as Chief Technology Officer.
Mr. Herres will assume responsibilities immediately. He brings over 25 years of senior management experience, including an impressive track record of executive management applied to many industries with an emphasis on technology companies. Mr. Herres brings proven skills in leading high technology companies through operational and sales challenges, including the development and implementation of strategic plans that effectively deliver corporate missions.

Mr. Herres was Chief Operating Officer at Aldus Corporation prior to merger with Adobe Systems. Since that time he has been a strategic consultant to CEO’s and served as president or CEO to several companies. As president of ST Labs he executed the sale of the company to Data Dimensions. Prior corporate positions included Sr. Vice President of Engineering at Avanti Communications Corporation where he helped raise $4.5 million in strategic funding from Fortune 100 companies, and Vice President, Network Programs for Nortel, Inc. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Gonzaga University and an MBA from the University of Oregon with post-graduate work in Organization Design at UCLA.
