The Legion of Xtreme Soccer Fans are sponsoring the ‘Fall Crusade’ fundraiser, which is slated to take place October 23, 2010.   This event takes place in conjunction with the Sounders FC’s final away game of the regular season, which is versus the Houston Dynamo.

The ‘Fall Crusade’ will take place at All Nations World Bar and Restaurant. The event is commencing at 12:30 PM; kickoff is scheduled to take place at 1:00 pm. All Nations is located at 930 N. 130th Street in Seattle, just west of the intersection of Aurora Avenue North and North 130th Street.  All Nations is a family friendly locale, with a separate bar and restaurant area. More information about All Nations can be found at its website: www.allnationsworldbar.com

All Nations is owned by Sam Hassan, who is also Executive Director of the All Nations Cup, an annual soccer tournament in Seattle that serves as a fundraiser for Sister Communities. When asked about hosting the ‘Fall Crusade’ fundraiser, Hassan responded, “we are very excited about the opportunity to work with the Legion (of Xtreme Soccer Fans); Seattle Children’s is my favorite hospital in the entire U.S., because their policy is that no family in need is ever turned away, regardless of their ability to pay.” More information about the All Nations Cup and Sister Communities can be located at: www.allnationscup.org

Legion of Xtreme Soccer Fans membership kits will be available for sale during the event, and donations for Seattle Children’s Hospital will be collected at the door, with a minimum suggested donation of $10 per person. All proceeds of Legion of Xtreme Soccer Fans membership dues and merchandise sales, and all funds raised during this event goes directly to Seattle Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The Legion of Xtreme Soccer Fans is a family-friendly, professional soccer (supporter) fan group that encourages extreme support of the Seattle Sounders FC professional soccer franchise, as well as to promote the love of the game. The intention of the Legion of Xtreme Soccer Fans is indeed to take fan support to the ‘next level’. This would include demonstrating support by dressing up ‘xtremely’, including wearing wild costumes, colored hair, face paint, etc. While we love having fun, the more profound reason for formation of the Legion of Xtreme Soccer Fans is to raise funding for pediatric medical institutions, such as Seattle Children’s Hospital, based in Seattle, Washington.
