Stop #3 of Volcom’s 2015 North American Wild in the Parks tour is coming to Bellevue Skate Plaza on June 27, 2015. On the road with us, we’ll have our new media partners The Berrics and The Skateboard Mag. These new media allies will elevate the Wild in the Parks to an even larger audience. As a result, this contest series will be a definitive path for those pursuing a professional career in skateboarding.
Celebrating 13 years as the ultimate proving grounds for emerging skateboarders, Volcom’s Wild in the Parks (part of the Volcom Let The Kids Ride Free initiative) is a free amateur skateboard contest series showcasing emerging skateboarders in major regions around the world. The 10 stop 2015 North American contest series features three divisions: 14 & under, 15-21 and Open/Amateur, with competitors vying for a spot to compete at the $15,000 Global Wild In The Parks Championships held at The Berrics in Los Angeles, CA on October 17, 2015. Volcom Pro, Caswell Berry, will also pick his favorite competitor to jump in the van with the Volcom team and shoot a photo to be featured in The Skateboard Mag with the footage to be featured on The Berrics!
Come hang out, eat some free food, rock out, and skate away with some free gear while having a great time and supporting the local skate scene! Spectators are welcome!
