HONOLULU, HAWAII—The Hong Kong Business Association of Hawaii (HKBAH) presents the 2014 Hong Kong-China Business, Tourism, Technology and Investment Forum, June 4-7 in Honolulu.
The 4-day conference is anchored by the Forum on June 6th at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, with speakers including, Director of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Yanjun Li, distiguished attorney and former Solicitor General for Hong Kong, Mr. Daniel R. Fung, Chairman of the Tianjin Sister-City Council for the Promotion of Enterprises from Tianjin, China, Mr. Yuying Wang, Associate Director General of Invest Hong Kong, Mr. Andrew Davis, and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Rhombus International Hotels Group Hong Kong, Mr. Calvin Mak, among other leading experts from China, Hong Kong, and North America.
Focusing on this year’s theme, “China’s Next Chapter: How to Tap into the New Opportunities,” seminar highlights include the practical aspects of setting up and doing business in China, leveraging Hong Kong’s deep knowledge and experience in China, engaging potential Chinese investors, and discussing China’s growth sectors including tourism, investment, and technology.
“The HK-China Forum is about economic exchange between Hawaii, Hong Kong and China. Overseas speakers are directors leading economic growth at the national and provincial levels, and are all highly credible and valuable resources,” said Barinna Poon, HKBAH’s President.
