There wasn’t much excitement on the streets of Bellevue at 8am on New Year’s Day, but the folks at the downtown Bellevue Safeway had a bit of excitement.
Bellevue Police were called after a man was spotted attempting to shoplift a bottle of wine – apparently in an attempt to keep his New Year’s Eve party going. Since our liquor laws are going through some changes, perhaps next year he’ll be able to try for some tequila!
