The City Council is seeking candidates for a vacancy on the Parks & Community Services Board. Whoever is appointed will serve a four-year term, with the possibility of reappointment for an additional four years.
The Park Board advises the council about parks and social services issues. The board meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in City Hall.
Candidates must be Bellevue residents. Residents in newly annexed areas are particularly encouraged to apply. Bellevue values diversity.
Residents can apply online or pick up an application from the City Clerk’s Office or the Service First desk in City Hall, as well as in the Bellevue Regional Library, the Lake Hills Library or the Mini City Hall at Crossroads Bellevue. An application can be downloaded or you can request one faxed to you by calling 452-6466.
Applications may be handwritten, typed or computer-generated; a resume may be attached. They must go to the Clerk’s Office (address in the right column of this page).
All applications must be received by the City Clerk by 11:59 p.m., Friday, May 27.
