Recently opened in the hidden Factoria North Plaza, the new jingjing asian market is a very special find indeed. When wandering the aisles to check out all the different goods available, it was very evident that this store has great prices and a wonderful selection as well. When making toward the back of the store where they sell their seafood products – including many live crab and different species of fish.
Somewhere around the fish counter, I was greeted by Donny Tu, the Store Manager. Donny is a very friendly man and I have no doubt he is going to help make the store
a great success. After Donny told me about their membership program (similar to those of major grocery chains), he introduced me to Scott Heimberger, who is the store owner and another very warm and friendly person. According to “A Story of Love and Food” on their website, Scott met JingJing, the love of his life, in Shanghai, got married moved to America and started missing the foods of Asia. That’s how jingjing asian market was born.
It may be a little hard to find, but the management and staff is great, the selection and prices are amazing and I fully recommend that you check out jingjing asian market today. jingjing asian market is located at 12402 SE 38th Street, Ste 209, Bellevue, WA 98006 in the shadows of the I-405 & I-90 Interchange.
