Lake Washington Technical College (LWTC) has won four national marketing awards in the Eighth Annual Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA).

The awards:

*   A Silver for a series of radio ads promoting college programs

*   A Bronze for a magazine ad series in 425 Magazine

*   A Bronze for Imprinted Materials for a wine bag used to promote the Wine Technology and International Programs

*   A Merit for Imprinted Materials used at the groundbreaking event for the school’s new Allied Health Building.

SIAA are the only advertising awards to specifically recognize the achievements of the service industry. The competition included almost 2,000 entries from 1,000 institutions and 400 advertising agencies. A national panel of judges evaluated and rated entries in 12 groups and 27 categories. The judges graded each on creativity, quality, consumer appeal and overall breakthrough advertising content.
