At a time when the addiction industry is under close scrutiny for its business practices, Recovery Brands, a provider of digital addiction treatment resources, and 10,000 Beds, Inc., a national non-profit granting scholarship beds for individuals seeking treatment for addiction, have joined forces to launch an ethics series for rehab facilities. The ETHOS (Ethical Training for Healthy Operational Success) Series is a circuit of one-day seminars across the nation, featuring actionable business insights from seasoned industry leaders.

“We’ve heard many conversations about ethics within our industry, but haven’t seen much development for proper training or education,” said Ruchi Dhami, director of market research and development at Recovery Brands. “We want to help facilities learn how to turn these conversations into real strategies. The ETHOS Series provides tangible actions across the full spectrum of business operations so attendees can immediately implement these steps into their business and workflow.”

The series is also a charitable opportunity to support 10,000 Beds, as a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the nonprofit to provide free quality treatment to those in need and help get them on the life-saving path to recovery.

“It’s so crucial we help people with addiction who are ready, willing, and seeking help for treatment. Yet, it’s equally as crucial for us in this space to come together in order to improve the standard of quality care,” said Jean Krisle, founder and CEO of 10,000 Beds. “The more facilities we can educate about effective and appropriate ethical business solutions results in increased access to care for more individuals in need of treatment.”

The ETHOS Series begins June 29, 2017, in Chicago. The following dates and locations include August 25 in Denver; October 26 in Philadelphia; and December 14 in New Orleans. Areas of focus for the series include digital marketing, admissions, alumni programs, billing, documentation, branding and more. The list of industry speakers includes: Ben Cort, founder of the Addiction Treatment Marketing Organization; Ruchi Dhami, director of market research and development for Recovery Brands; Jean Krisle, founder and CEO of 10,000 Beds; Josh Zeises, director of alumni and patient experience for JourneyPure; Laurie Reid, founder and president of Breaking the Cycle Consulting; James Hadlock, marketing director for Acqua Recovery; Eric P. Yorlano, CEO and owner of Integrity Billing; and Kelly Farrell, founder and president of designRoom.
